What You’ll Do- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope of practice
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Perform and assist with medical and interventional procedures as appropriate
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and procedures
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and clinical team members
- Respond calmly and effectively to urgent and emergent clinical situations
- Uphold quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current national certification as an NP or PA
- Active, unrestricted state licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of pharmacology, diagnostics, and patient care documentation
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Comfort using electronic health records and standard computer applications
