Quality Assurance Engineer – Support NASA Space Launch System Liquid Engine safety & mission assurance contract in Merritt Island, FL
.

• Perform expert QA inspection and inline assessment on critical flight hardware with zero escapes.
• Identify hardware risk and mitigation solutions with expert QA knowledge.
• Collect, manage, and analyze quality data.
• Support Quality Plans, Surveillance Plans, Inspection Instructions, First Article Inspections, Nonconformance Resolutions, and Auditing.
• Other duties as assigned.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years recent, related work experience.
• In lieu of degree: 14+ years recent, related experience will be considered.

• AS9100 auditor or lead auditor experience/certification.
• Supply chain management experience and ability to travel to critical suppliers.
• Material Review Board experience.

• Onsite location.
• 9/80 or 4/10 schedule with every other Friday off.
• Situational telework may be authorized.
• Second and third shift coverage with some weekends may be required.
• Some travel may be required.
