Software Engineer III, Operations Technology

Join Blue Origin as a Software Engineer III to help build reusable, safe space vehicles and support operations technology. This role is part of the Supply Chain Technology team where you will design scalable digital infrastructure for the entire Operations organization.

• Interview process includes a technical assessment

• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, Python, and Java Script
• Build web interfaces using React, Angular, or similar frameworks
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy ML models into production
• Design data architecture for integration platform based on Spring Boot
• Develop on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Git)
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of tools and processes

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years of experience writing production software
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Experience building web interfaces with React or similar
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
