We are looking for an Accountant to join the Finance team eager to make a quick impact. The successful candidate will take part in day‑to‑day operations and work directly with business partners for month‑end close and corporate reporting.

• Perform critical accounting functions such as recording, reconciling and analysing G/L account transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of month‑end close journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing and revenue.
• Assist with Accounts Payable to review, code and process vendor invoices.
• Review compensation and commissions for accuracy.
• Cross‑train with other accountants for backup.
• Assist with tax filings and audits, addressing PBCs requests.
• Complete ad‑hoc projects such as documentation, development and system implementations.
• Build and leverage cross‑functional relationships to bring value to Accounting and internal teams.
• Learn all types of accounting operations of a medium‑sized startup.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in GL, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax and payroll.
• Quick Books and SaaSOptics/Maxio experience is a plus.
• Previous work experience in the SaaS industry.
• Understanding and experience with financial statements audits.
• Strong written, oral communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work products.
• Open‑minded, eager to create efficiencies and learn.
