We are representing a reputable, franchise-approved dealership in Merthyr Tydfil seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This opportunity is ideal for qualified professionals aiming to develop their career within a well-established automotive group.

Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pmDuties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles to manufacturer standards
Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Aftersales Manager
Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance are maintained
Adhere to high-quality workmanship and health and safety procedures
Responsible for meeting team targets and delivering excellent customer service
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
Assist with additional tasks as required by the Service Department Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Ideally 1 to 2 years’ post-qualification experience within a workshop environment
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Good team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to consistently produce high-quality work in a fast-paced setting
Motivated with a commitment to professional development

Experience with hybrid vehicle technology, PSA vehicles, or holding an MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
