We’re looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our Technical team and play a key role in supporting some of the UK’s leading retailers, food service customers and business partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused technical professional who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects and ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, legality and quality.

What you’ll be doing
  • Acting as the day-to-day technical contact for our customers and manufacturing partners
  • Managing customer specifications and supporting the launch of new products
  • Providing technical support to National Account Managers and wider business teams
  • Coordinating customer visits, audits and follow-up actions
  • Managing consumer complaints and supporting investigations and trend analysis
  • Ensuring supplier approvals, certifications and technical documentation are maintained
  • Supporting ethical sourcing, sustainability and customer compliance requirements
  • Working closely with colleagues across Technical, Commercial, Supply Chain and Operations
What we’re looking for
  • Experience with in a food manufacturing technical, quality or compliance role
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing specifications and retailer requirements
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement

Experience working with major retailers and online specification portals would be advantageous.

The post holder will be responsible for health and safety in the area under his/her control on a day-to-day basis, and must ensure as far as is reasonably practicable, that he/she is familiar with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and recommendations and these are observed within his/her areas of responsibility. Attention is drawn particularly to the existence of the Company’s policy statement on Health and Safety  accident in the post holder’s area must be recorded in the accident book.
