Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Merthyr Tydfil, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. This setting aims to promote creativity, independence and ambition across the school and to support every child in their learning journey.

The school is looking to take on a driven Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensuring the successful Learning Support Assistant will be supported and developed from day one.

• Provide ALN support and assist pupils within the primary phase (ages 3-11).
• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2 as needed within the classroom.
• Model calm, professional behavior in challenging situations and support a positive learning environment.

• Experience working with children across the primary phase (3-11 yrs).
• Experience working with SEND/ALN.
• Excellent classroom management.
