About the RoleYou will join a supportive Science faculty committed to delivering high-quality STEM education.
Responsibilities- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Physics at GCSE level
- Designing engaging lessons that encourage analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Promoting practical experimentation and real-world application of scientific principles
- Supporting intervention strategies to raise attainment in Physics
- Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM competitions and university partnerships
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong Physics subject knowledge and a passion for STEM
- Sets high standards for behaviour and achievement
- Is confident using data to inform planning and progress
- Works collaboratively within a team-focused department
- High-quality professional development and leadership pathways
- A structured and supportive ECT programme (if applicable)
- A positive, respectful learning culture
