The Learning Design and Delivery Specialist will work with a range of business stakeholders to turn vision, strategic objectives and identified learning needs into high-quality learning experiences.
It will be required to design, develop and maintain engaging, blended and standards-compliant learning content that supports business outcomes in an easily digestible, accessible and measurable way. This will include learning across face-to-face sessions, virtual facilitation and digital solutions with particular emphasis on multimedia content creation, SCORM/xAPI packaging, LMS administration, and training delivery.
Design and develop engaging learning content, including eLearning modules, videos, simulations, job aids, and assessments. Apply instructional design best practices to ensure learning materials are learner centred, accessible, and aligned to business outcomes. Produce multimedia learning assets using industry standard authoring and media development tools. Package learning content to SCORM, xAPI, or cmi5 standards to ensure compatibility with the LMS and accurate learner tracking.
TrainingDesign & Facilitation
Deliver training sessions where required, including virtual, blended, or face-to-face delivery for technical and non-technical subjects. Facilitate workshops, system training, and refresher sessions to support business initiatives and change programmes. Adapt learning content and delivery methods based on audience needs and feedback.
Learning Management System (LMS) AdministrationSupport managing and maintaining the organisation’s LMS, including course setup, content uploads, user management, and learning pathways. Ensure accurate reporting on learner participation, completion, and assessment results. Troubleshoot LMS and content issues, working with vendors where necessary to resolve technical problems. In coordination with LMS owner, continuously optimise the LMS user experience to improve accessibility, engagement, and adoption.
Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with subject matter experts, operational leaders, and project teams to identify learning requirements and develop appropriate solutions. Support transformation and system implementations by developing and delivering role‑based training materials. Act as a trusted advisor on digital learning approaches and learning technologies.
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through feedback, LMS reporting, and learner performance data. Use insights to continuously improve learning content, delivery methods, and LMS configuration. Maintain learning content to ensure it remains current, accurate, and aligned with business changes.
Requirements for Role- Bachelor’s degree (or CIPD Level 5/7 qualification) in a relevant field such as Learning Technologies, L&D, Instructional Design, Communications, HR, Digital Media, Education, or equivalent proven practical experience
- Professional certification in eLearning or instructional design is desirable.
- Training or facilitation qualifications are an advantage.
