Job title:
Music Teacher (Woodwind / Recorder / Curriculum). The role involves teaching pupils in schools across Carmarthenshire, supporting delivery of centrally coordinated extra‑curricular music ensembles, and travelling regularly to schools and rehearsals.
The successful candidate will work with pupils in Primary and Secondary schools across the county and support the delivery of centrally coordinated extra‑curricular music ensembles. The role will involve regular travel to a variety of school settings and ensemble rehearsals throughout Carmarthenshire.
Requirements and QualificationsApplicants must have a high level of proficiency on an instrument and an ability to inspire young people across all Key Stages in both Primary and Secondary schools. The current vacancy is for a Woodwind / Recorder / Curriculum Teacher. Welsh language level required:
Level 3 (conversational Welsh). An Enhanced DBS check with barred‑list supplement will be required. Candidates must not be barred from regulated activity relevant to children or adults at risk.
