Teacher Active is proud to be working with supportive mainstream secondary schools throughout Merthyr Tydfil. We are looking for confident, resilient and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide classroom support from September.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils across KS3 and KS4 and deliver work that has already been prepared by teaching staff. You will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning while creating a calm and productive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children or young people

• Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills

• Confidence managing a full classroom

• The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons effectively

• A positive, professional and adaptable approach

• A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
