Main Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional mathematician to work with our most able students as a Mathematician in Residence. This is a unique opportunity to inspire talented young mathematicians and support their development through advanced problem solving, enrichment, and primarily preparing students for success in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 (BMO1) and Round 2 (BMO2).

The successful candidate will work closely with the school's most able mathematicians, through a combination of group sessions and individual mentoring.

A passion for mathematics and a commitment to nurturing academic excellence are essential. Proven success in preparing students for BMO1 and BMO2 is highly desirable, as is experience of mathematical competitions, and Olympiad training.

This role would suit a teacher, academic, researcher, postgraduate mathematician, or experienced problem-solver with a passion for developing mathematical talent.
