Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in water hygiene services, along with knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274, is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

  • Clean and chlorination of tanks
  • Chlorination of water systems
  • TMV servicing including full servicing and fail‑safe testing
Qualifications

To be a successful Water Hygiene Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification and knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG
    274
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to follow set methods and procedures
  • IT literacy with hand‑held devices
