We are scaling our technology operations and need a dedicated Security Engineer to become the first member of our hands‑on security team. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will bridge security strategy and software engineering, ensuring that all products and infrastructure are secure from the ground up.

• Design and implement security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats across our cloud and application ecosystem.
• Embed security into workflows (Dev Sec Ops ): work directly with engineering teams to integrate automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, SCA) and validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security controls as code (IaC) to secure our AWS environment by default, including container hardening and network security groups.
• Manage and optimize our Cloudflare implementation—WAF, Zero Trust, CDN—to protect web applications.
• Monitor security systems, act as the primary responder for security incidents, and conduct regular security assessments, threat modeling, and code reviews.
• Champion a security culture: serve as a consultant and mentor to software engineers, promoting secure coding practices and technical excellence.
• Coordinate external testing, including penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and red‑team exercises.

• Proven hands‑on experience as a Security Engineer, Dev Sec Ops  Engineer, or similar technical security role.
• Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in programming and scripting languages for automation and complex codebases (Angular familiarity is a plus).
• Extensive experience securing AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience implementing, configuring, and managing Cloudflare (WAF, CDN, Bot Management).
• Deep understanding of modern engineering practices, IaC mindsets, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting complex security issues.
