A well-established UK manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead its receivables function. This role is responsible for driving cash collection, reducing debtor days, managing credit risk, and leading a high-performing team. Strong, hands‑on SAP experience is essential.

• Own and improve cash collection performance, reducing overdue debt and debtor days
• Lead and manage the credit control team with clear targets and accountability
• Identify and resolve payment issues, disputes, and process inefficiencies
• Use SAP data to prioritise high‑risk/high‑value accounts and drive cash recovery
• Manage credit limits, account blocks, and escalations to minimise risk
• Partner with Sales and commercial teams to balance cash flow and customer relationships
• Lead negotiations on payment plans and complex collections
• Produce clear reporting on cash performance, risks, and actions
• Continuously improve processes to enhance cash conversion

SAP (Essential)

• Manage credit control and AR processes within SAP
• Run and interpret aged debt and exposure reports
• Maintain accurate customer data
• Control credit limits, blocks, and releases

• Proven leadership experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable
• Strong, hands‑on SAP experience (essential)
• Experience managing or supervising a team
• Solid understanding of credit risk, cash flow, and debt recovery
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

• Commercially driven with a strong focus on cash and risk
• Hands‑on leader with a proactive, results‑oriented approach
• Confident influencing stakeholders and handling escalations
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to operate in a fast‑paced environment
