A growing UK main contractor delivering complex healthcare and modular construction projects is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisoras part of its next phase of growth.

This is a regional, delivery-focused role, supporting multiple live and upcoming projects across Essex and the Northern Home Counties.

You’ll be joining a business that is:

• Scaling rapidly, with a strong forward order book

• Delivering technically complex projects in regulated environments

• Investing heavily in safety, people and long-term capability

• Building a safety culture that’s on a journey – not a tick-box exercise

This is a role for someone who wants to make an impact, not just maintain systems.

• Regional H&S support across multiple live sites

• Working closely with site teams, delivery managers and senior leadership

• Influencing behaviours and standards in fast-paced environments

• Supporting both construction delivery and post-completion operations

• Regular travel and occasional overnight stays required

• Background in construction before moving into Health & Safety

• NEBOSH Construction (Diploma support available)

• Confident, pragmatic and able to challenge when needed

• Approachable, relationship-driven, but not a pushover

• Comfortable in businesses that are growing and evolving

• Happy with a hands‑on, site‑facing role

• Strong support for training and career development

• Non‑micromanaging leadership style with genuine autonomy
