Win As a TeamThe Data & ML Product Lead is responsible for shaping, driving, and executing Intact’s UK&I data and machine learning product strategy. This role work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise and development teams to ensure that products are aligned with business objectives, deliver measurable value, and are scalable across the organization.
You’ll Make An Impact By- Drive the strategy for data and ML products, ensuring alignment with Intact's business goals and data strategy.
- Development:
Develop and maintain comprehensive data product roadmaps and target product catalogue, that outline the delivery and evolution of data products, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. - Collaborate with business units, data science teams, and technology groups to identify opportunities, prioritise initiatives, and ensure successful product launches and adoption.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end management of data and ML products, from ideation and development to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Defines the data product operating model, including ongoing governance, to ensure they remain relevant, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
- Define practices to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products and drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and performance data.
- Able to work seamlessly across business, data, and technology teams—building trust, aligning priorities, and creating shared ownership of outcomes.
- Remarkable Communicator:
Skilled at simplifying complex data topics for non‑technical audiences; articulate, and confident in executive‑level discussions. - Insurance Domain experience and understanding of e2e insurance value chain - Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Risk and can translate them into valuable data and ML product opportunities.
- Experienced in end‑to‑end product ownership, roadmap creation, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and value measurement.
- Practical Cloud & Data
Experience:
and working knowledge of cloud data technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks) to engage engineering teams, assess feasibility, and shape scalable product delivery. - Experience in establishing and managing governance frameworks for data products, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.
