Our platform powers hundreds of underwriters across North America and Europe, and we’re only accelerating from here. We pair elite engineering with a supportive, people‑first culture and we've got the awards to prove it. We need a hands‑on Senior Data Scientist who thrives on ambition, problem solving and empowering brilliant humans to do brilliant things.

This

role is for you if you love:

Focus on the development of geospatial and property data products that help customers understand buildings, places, and associated risks.

You will work hands‑on with multiple internal and external structured and unstructured data, performing research and experimentation to combine them into coherent, informed views of the world. This includes developing analytical models, heuristics, and features that can be deployed into production and scaled globally.

You will help influence direction through your work, focus on the detail, and technical judgement to lead the development of data‑driven geospatial and property intelligence products that power our platform and probabilistic risk‑based assessments for our customers.

What you will do:
  • ☁️
Develop Geospatial & Property Data Products - Design and build data products that describe buildings, addresses, and geographic context at scale.
  • ☁️
Research & Data Synthesis - Perform R&D to explore and evaluate new data sources, methodologies, and modelling approaches.
  • ☁️
Modelling & Analytics - Use Databricks as a primary environment for exploration, feature engineering, and model development.
  • ☁️
Production & Collaboration - Work with data engineers and backend engineers to product ionise models and data products.
What you bring:
  • ☁️
Data Science & Modelling - Strong experience developing data products, analytical models, or derived features from complex real‑world datasets.
  • ☁️
Computer Vision - Ability to develop or implement Computer Vision models (e.g., Segment Anything Model).
  • ☁️
Data Research & Synthesis - Ability to perform R&D to evaluate, combine, and reason about multiple data sources to produce probabilistic views of property or geographic risk. Experience using Databricks for data exploration, feature engineering, and model development using Spark.
  • ☁️
Unstructured Data Intel - Processing (NLP) to extract structured features from unstructured geospatial text (e.g., planning applications, property listings, or surveyor reports).
  • ☁️
Python & SQL - Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis, modelling, and production‑ready data pipelines.
  • ☁️
Data Quality & Evaluation - Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis, modelling, and production‑ready data pipelines.
  • ☁️
Cloud Data Platforms - Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms (e.g. AWS) and how data systems operate in production environments.
  • ☁️
Python & SQL - Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis, modelling, and production‑ready data pipelines.
What you’ll love about us:
  • ☁️ Award‑Winning Culture:

  • ☁️ Professional Growth:
Time and resources allocated for your development.
