Senior Consultant - Azure AI Foundry

📍 Remote UK with occasional office and customer visits

This role sits within a leading global IT solutions and managed services provider with a strong reputation for delivering complex data and AI programmes  business operates across multiple industries, working with enterprise and public sector customers on modern cloud transformation initiatives.

They are hiring a Senior Consultant to join their Data and AI practice, focused on designing and delivering Azure based data platforms and AI solutions for customers. This is a delivery first role with real technical ownership, not slideware or endless internal meetings.

• You will work on proper customer facing projects using modern Azure data and AI services, not legacy clean up work.
• The role is remote first with sensible, occasional travel rather than forced office presence.
• You will have the opportunity to lead small to medium engagements and be trusted to make technical decisions.
• There is a clear emphasis on technical depth, customer impact and progression rather than pure utilisation.

• Deliver high quality Azure data and AI solutions as part of a customer delivery team.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
• Design and deploy Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry and Cognitive Services.
• Act as a technical authority within engagements, working with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Lead or contribute to small and medium sized consulting engagements end to end.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the wider consulting practice.
• Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to Azure best practice.

• 3 to 5 years experience delivering solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong experience designing and implementing Azure data platforms including Fabric, Synapse, SQL and Data Factory.
• Hands on experience deploying Azure AI services into production environments.
• Good understanding of core Azure services including Entra, networking, storage and security.
• Experience with ARM or Bicep, Power Shell, KQL and Python.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and leading technical conversations.

• Desirable Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer DP 600
