About this roleRemote working nationally within UK. NPCC is currently based in close proximity to St James Park underground station, London and therefore occasional travel will be required to this premise and other Police locations across the UK. A. The starting salary is £80,260, which includes allowances totaling £2,928. Salary breakdown: £77,332 basic salary, £89,320 top of scale, £1,982 location allowance and £1,000 non-pensionable allowance.
- Strong working knowledge of the digital, data and technology environment across policing and how technology directly enables and benefits policing aspirations.
- Detailed experience and knowledge of implementing business change at a strategic level.
- Knowledge of national issues across a broad range of subject matters to enable development and implementation of the committee involving stakeholders from across the Police Service and other relevant organisations.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to intervene tactfully yet decisively when required.
- Ability to communicate with and manage senior and executive level stakeholders, and create effective networks both within the organisation and externally.
- Extensive, demonstrable experience of strategy, planning, and performance delivery within a large organisation and in a complex environment. Demonstrate the ability to analyse and update reports on progress against delivery.
- Experience in coordinating national committees or similar bodies in a policing or public sector context.
- Proven track record of influencing senior leadership and fostering cross‑agency partnership.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.
