Real Estate Development Lawyer

TSR Legal is delighted to be working with a leading UK law firm in Cardiff on the appointment of a Real Estate Development Lawyer.

This is a rare opportunity to join a top tier firm with a strong national reputation for development work, advising major developers, investors and landowners on high profile and complex schemes across Wales and beyond. The Cardiff office combines the strength and resources of a global platform with the accessibility and culture of a market leading regional team.

The successful candidate will play a central role in progressing a broad range of development matters, leading transactions and contributing strategically to the continued growth of the practice.

You will advise on all aspects of commercial development, including strategic land acquisitions and disposals, site assembly and option agreements, development agreements and collaboration arrangements, and planning, infrastructure and regulatory considerations. You will oversee title due diligence, lease analysis and risk assessment, managing transactions from instruction through to completion.

Working closely with colleagues across planning, construction, corporate and banking teams, you will deliver a seamless and commercially focused service to clients. The role also provides genuine scope to contribute to business development initiatives and further strengthen an already impressive market presence.

• Qualified Solicitor with 7 years’ PQE or more in real estate
• Significant experience advising on complex development transactions
• Strong technical grounding in property law, contracts and planning matters
• A commercial and strategic mindset with excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• A genuine interest in client development and growing a practice
