Part Time Morning Cleaner

Position Overview

Equans is looking for a Part‑time Morning Cleaner to join our team at the Merthyr Tydfil Combined Court Centre, Law Courts, Glebeland Place, Merthyr Tydfil CF47 8BH
. The role is permanent, 10 hours per week, with a salary of £12.90 per hour and a benefits package.

Monday to Friday, 07:00 am – 09:00 am.

As the on‑site cleaner, you will keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety while maintaining a professional manner with all staff and members of the public.

BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) vetting, including DBS clearance, is essential to this role. The checks typically include:

• Identity Verification (passport, photo , birth certificate, etc.)
• Employment History (past 3 years); gaps may require HMRC statements.
• Right to work status in the UK (citizenship or valid share code).
• Unspent criminal record (disclosure of any unspent convictions).
• Significant periods abroad (any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years).

• Experience as a cleaner.
• At least one year of experience in a customer‑focused environment.
• Current DBS (ideally no older than 12 months).
• Ability to acquire BPSS vetting.
• Right to work in the UK.
