The Production Controller is responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end production lifecycle, from customer order through to delivery. This role ensures production plans are executed effectively, materials are available, and operational performance meets customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.
Your key responsibilities in this role include:
Plan and manage production activities to protect TAKT and ensure smooth workflow through the production process
Take ownership of a programme stream, managing its planning inputs into the Master Production Schedule
Coordinate with internal programme streams to ensure aligned planning and on-time delivery of production outputs
Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to planned load and offload dates
Track, compile, and report performance metrics through KPI reporting as defined by the Production Support Manager
Identify and mitigate material shortages and supply risks impacting production
Maintain shop order accuracy and housekeeping within the MRP system to support Supply Chain activities
Control production costs while maintaining required quality standards
Work cross-functionally to ensure shop orders are completed on time and to customer specification
Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are always adhered to
Apply if you have most of the following:
Experience working in a manufacturing, assembly, or vehicle build environment
Experience with in a production planning or manufacturing engineering function
Experience working with ERP/MRP system
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
Good understanding of production planning and control processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Proactive and dynamic approach to problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Additional local needs
Full time working onsite would be required
Successful candidate would be required to complete a BPSS check
