Packing Operative

Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.

We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives to work in our busy Beef Boning Departments on site in Merthyr Tydfil.

This is a full time, permanent position working 5.30am/6.00am with a variable production finish depending on production numbers that day
- Monday to Friday with a salary of £12.90 per hour.

• Working proficiently as part of a team to ensure the daily planned production is maintained
• Packing meat in to the relevant boxes/packaging required
• Handling raw Beef or Lamb
• Heavy lifting and moving heavy items is involved in this role
• Moving the packs to different parts of the factory
• Full PPE provided

We are looking for candidates who can start straight away.
