We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Factory Operative to support daily operations across our factory and warehouse. This role involves forklift driving, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, coordinating with store operatives, and handling picking and packing of stock. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, safety‑conscious, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift Operations- Safely operate forklifts to move materials, finished goods, and pallets.
- Load and unload deliveries and internal stock.
- Stack, store, and retrieve goods in accordance with safety procedures.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report faults.
- Keep the factory, warehouse, and storage areas clean, tidy, and hazard‑free.
- Dispose of waste and packaging materials correctly.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Pick orders accurately from stock locations.
- Pack items securely for dispatch.
- Label, scan, and record stock movements.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
- Communicate and coordinate with store operatives regarding stock needs.
- Ensure timely supply of materials to production or retail areas.
- Support general warehouse and factory duties as required.
- Valid forklift licence/certification.
- Experience in a warehouse or factory environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle stock safely.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic record‑keeping or stock system experience.
- Previous picking/packing experience.
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures.
- Experience working with inventory systems.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Safety-focused and detail‑oriented.
- Flexible and willing to support different areas.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
