SVS Group currently has a full‑time opportunity for an AP / AR Clerk for one of our clients in the Mesa area. Shift is Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with various accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain general ledger accounting by recording journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Assist in payroll management, including data entry and payroll processing.
• Utilize financial software such as Quick Books, Paychex, or Workday for transaction management.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with other departments for benefits administration and human resources tasks.
• Conduct analysis of financial data to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation related to accounts payable / receivable.

• Proficient in accounting software including Quick Books, Paychex, Workday, Sage, People Soft, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems such as RAMP or ADP
• Experience in public accounting or non-profit accounting is advantageous.
• Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy (10 key typing proficiency).
• Strong analytical skills for effective account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
• Knowledge of tax experience and governmental accounting practices is beneficial.
