Accounting Assistant, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
AP Clerk LHH Recruitment is partnering with a company near Mesa who is in search of an AP clerk to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The hourly rate is between $21 / hr-$23 / hr.
This is a fully onsite position, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative office environment and enjoys working with numbers and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files and records.
- Assist with month-end closing and audit support as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role.
- Experience with a large ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar) is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
