Operator (Dirt/Earthwork) at Kinkaid Civil Construction, LLC – 100% employee-owned, family-run heavy civil construction company that self-performs concrete work, underground utility installation, and roadway/grading operations. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in civil sitework construction. The ideal candidate will be a universal operator proficient in operating a wide range of equipment, including Gannon, Dozer, Loader, Blade, and Scraper, with proven expertise as a finish operator who understands precision grading and site preparation techniques. This position requires a strong knowledge of safety regulations, the ability to interpret blueprints, maps, and technical instructions, and the physical endurance to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment (including Gannon, Dozer, Loader, Blade, Scraper) as a universal operator and finish operator with a focus on precision grading and site preparation.
• Follow safety regulations and best practices; interpret blueprints, maps, and technical instructions.
• Perform civil sitework construction tasks in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

• 5+ years of Heavy Equipment Operator experience.
• Proven experience as a Universal Operator with proficiency across multiple heavy equipment types (Gannon, Dozer, Loader, Blade, Scraper).
• Experience as a Finish Operator with strong finish grading and site preparation knowledge.
• Proven experience with heavy equipment in civil sitework construction.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, maps, and technical instructions.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Pay: $25 - $35/hourly (dependent on job stability and years of experience listed on resume).
