Position Summary

We are seeking experienced and motivated Pipelayers to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role in heavy civil construction focused on underground utility installation. Ideal candidates will have experience shooting grade, reading plans, transferring elevations, and using pipe lasers, survey equipment, and staking tools. We’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as a team leader in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair sanitary and stormwater sewer systems
  • Dig and grade trenches to precise elevations
  • Shoot grade, transfer elevations, and interpret layout stakes
  • Use lasers, grade rods, eye levels, and pipe lasers for pipe alignment and accuracy
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and layout drawings
  • Identify and avoid underground utilities to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in pipe laying or underground utility work, especially in heavy civil construction
  • Proficient in using pipe lasers, survey equipment, grade rods, eye levels, and other layout tools
  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans
  • Experience with shooting grade, transferring elevations, and interpreting staking
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and leadership skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in utility construction
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
