Schedule: Fridays | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Consistent 6-hour shift!)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.00 / hour (Hourly, commensurate with experience)

We are seeking a reliable, positive, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our team every Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
. In this role, you will provide chairside support to Dr. Arroyo, assist with patient preparation, take digital x-rays, manage sterilization, and ensure smooth operatory turnover.

• Chairside Assisting & Patient Prep:

  • Welcome and seat patients, review health histories, obtain vitals (blood pressure), and prepare them for clinical procedures.

  • Provide efficient, attentive chairside assistance to Dr. Arroyo during general, restorative, and cosmetic dental treatments.

• Operatory & Instrument Management:

  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary trays, materials, and instruments prior to appointments.

  • Perform thorough room breakdown, surface sanitization, and instrument sterilization following OSHA and HIPAA protocols.

• Radiology & Charting:

  • Take clear digital dental x-rays as requested by the doctor.

  • Accurately update patient charts, clinical notes, and treatment details in practice software.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on Dental Assisting experience (REQUIRED).

• Active Arizona Radiologic Technology / Dental X-Ray Certification.

• Current CPR / BLS Certification.

• Strong knowledge of dental instruments, chairside procedures, and sterilization protocols.

• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Preferences:

• Experience working in a general family dental practice setting.

• Proficiency with digital x-ray systems and dental practice management software.
