Applications are being accepted for an Adult Admissions Advisor at our Main Street Campus, 1601 W Main St Mesa, AZ 85201. The employee will work a 40‑hour workweek. School business hours are M‑F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with classes M‑F 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. This is an exempt position with extended work hours if job‑related responsibilities require time outside the normal hours.
PositionSummary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Recruitment, the Adult Admissions Advisor works closely with Admissions Specialists and Recruitment to identify and enroll potential students at EVIT’s. It is responsible for assessing career goals and education needs, explaining the benefits of EVIT programs, and moving them through the enrollment process.
Job Type & CompensationFull‑Time Exempt, 12‑Month Calendar. Salary ranges from $60,923.00 to $78,109.00. Placement within the range is based on education, industry‑related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Participation in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) is mandatory, with a regular contribution rate of 12.12% for retirement and 0.15% for Long‑Term Disability per pay period.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university (preferred); and/or
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting or working with adult students; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint clearance card.
- Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a career technical school that provides high school and adult students with the advanced skills and training needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
