XNRGY is seeking a Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join its team. Reporting to the Arizona HSE Manager, the HSE Coordinator will refine environmental programs including air permit compliance, hazardous waste, and support the Health and Safety Specialist in day‑to‑day tasks. All of this within a brand new, air‑conditioned, 265,000 sqft facility. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to expand their HSE acumen and gain valuable experience in industrial manufacturing.
- System and Program Development: Refine, implement, and maintain our HSE System along with policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. (CFR

Education:
Refine, implement, and give training on our HSE learning and development program for all employees. - Cross‑Department
Collaboration:
Work closely with production, engineering, and HR departments to promote a culture of environmental compliance, safety, and health throughout the organization. - Environmental Program Refinement: Working closely with the HSE Manager, you will refine air permit compliance, hazardous waste profiles, waste categorizations, and implement LEAN manufacturing concepts to HSE.
- Risk Assessment: Assist in the generation of risk assessments and safety/environmental audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and maintain necessary documentation and reporting.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Promote and implement environmental sustainability initiatives within the manufacturing process.
The work schedule for this role is 5 x 8 Hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays needed to support the organization.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED
- 1‑3+ years of experience in Health / Safety / Environmental practice
- HSE related associate’s or bachelor’s degree
- No experience required (for entry level)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Android/iOS
- Working knowledge and experience in CFR
40 (Federal Environmental Regulations) - Especially Air Permit Compliance, Visual Emissions, Hazardous Waste Lists and Spill Containment and Control
- Experience with making signage in software like Microsoft Publisher, Canva, etc.
- Experience in 29 CFR 1910 / 1926 and other relevant health and safety regulations.
- Experience generating training
- Ability to speak in public to a large and diverse workforce.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish or French)
- Certifications are a plus! (RCRA 8/16, EPA Visible Emissions, DOT, HAZWOPER, etc.)
