Summary
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of industrial mechanical projects. This role works closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced construction environment.

- Assist in planning and executing project tasks in alignment with project schedules.
- Support cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Help develop and maintain project schedules with the Project Manager.
- Maintain and organize project documents, including contracts, RFIs, and change orders.
- Identify and report potential risks and assist in mitigation efforts.
- Support quality control and safety compliance across project sites.
- Communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to share updates and resolve issues.
- Track material procurement and resource allocation.
- Prepare reports and assist in monitoring key project metrics.
- Participate in project closeout and lessons‑learned reviews.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Team‑oriented and adaptable to changing project needs.
- Committed to safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe).
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial mechanical construction or project management support.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of cost tracking and scheduling principles.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Frequent travel between project sites with occasional overnight stays.
- Frequent computer use for documentation and reporting.
- Combination of office and field work; exposure to outdoor conditions and job site environments.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
