Project Manager, Civil Land Development

Location: Mesa, Arizona (In-Office)

Salary: $110,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis

We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a robust background in civil land development to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage a diverse array of projects ranging from commercial and retail to industrial and multi-family developments. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in technical leadership, client relations, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive civil engineering designs for various land development projects.
• Create detailed site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater systems, and roadway designs utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate the acquisition of project permits, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring transparent communication and expectation management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in civil/site design, with 10+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Possession of a P.E. license is required. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred but not mandatory if licensed.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead internal teams effectively; candidates with a technical focus may also be considered for senior Project Engineer roles.
• Previous experience in commercial, industrial, multi-family, and master planning projects, including drainage and private roadway infrastructure, is ideal.
