$16.15/hr – $18.00/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members and uphold Walgreens service traits.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items; manage cash; process returns and exchanges.
• Maintain counters and shelves, perform inventory, and record transactions as directed.
• Assist in pharmacy operations: enter patient and drug data, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, check for interactions, and report prescription errors to the pharmacist.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention and process manual claims for third‑party prescription services.
• Support inventory management (ordering, receiving, using asset protection techniques, and filing claims).
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays and product placement as per policies.
• Assist with food item separation, stock rotation, and restocking.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (passport, poster print, creative machine).
• Manage web pick‑up responsibilities for Picture Care Plus orders.
• Perform exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean and orderly.
• Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and complete special assignments as directed.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated program and any required state certification.
• Attend training, complete PPLs, and acquire continuing education credits to keep knowledge up‑to‑date.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
