The Keller Group is partnering exclusively with a well-established and profitable organization in Mesa that is seeking a
Controller
to join their leadership team. This is a pivotal role within a privately held company that has a strong history of growth, stability, and long-tenured leadership.

This position is being hired due to an upcoming retirement and offers a clear succession path to CFO in the coming years. The incoming Controller will work closely with executive leadership and equity partners, leading a lean, collaborative finance team while helping build a scalable financial infrastructure to continued expansion.

• Oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Manage external audit and tax compliance, as well as internal controls and policies
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and cash management strategies
• Support an ERP system implementation (Net Suite) alongside the current team
• Mentor and develop a small but highly effective accounting group

• CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Minimum 3+ years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
• Experience in a private equity or venture-backed environment preferred
• Excellent tenure with previous organizations
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with executives and investors
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality with a focus on collaboration and cultural fit
