Behavioral Health Technician

Revive Recovery Center, located in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. Revive Recovery Center is a treatment center providing innovative, accessible, and compassionate clinical care to individuals struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.

• Assist licensed mental health and medical professionals in the delivery of care to clients.
• Provide support and guidance to clients during their recovery process.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any concerns to the treatment team.
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups for clients on topics such as coping skills, relapse prevention, and self-care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff.
• Collaborate with treatment team members, including therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the behavioral health field.
• Certification as a Peer Support or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and understanding of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and individuals with complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact in a professional manner with patients, families, and treatment team members.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
• Fingerprint clearance card (will be required to obtain).
• Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred – will be required to obtain).
• Current TB test (will be required to obtain).
