Banner Digestive Health Service Line - GI Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist - Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa AZ

Banner Health, one of the country's premier, non-profit health care organizations, has an outstanding opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join as a GI Hospitalist Provider with the newly formed Banner Digestive Health Service Line.

The Banner Digestive Health Service Line is comprised of a partnership between Banner Medical Group and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. Our goal is to provide comprehensive, integrated digestive health care across the spectrum of patient needs and serve as a destination tertiary care provider. This includes:

Ambulatory GI services

GI Hospitalist services

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Motility

DGBI

Weight Loss & Endometabolics, Endobariatrics and Bariatrics integration

Complex Foregut care

Multidisciplinary care for GI oncology

Subspecialized surgical services

Clinical trials

Teaching and Research via University of Arizona affiliation

Our mission is to develop the leading digestive health service line in the nation with quality, connectivity, state of the art clinical care, and research across the Banner Health Network.

Practice & Compensation Details:

Be part of a solid GI Hospitalist Specialty team focused on acute inpatient care

• General GI consults with Physician support
• 2 GI APPs scheduled per day to help out GI Hospitalist physician and the inpatient service.
• Shift model with a rotating schedule of 4 10-hour shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays
• Staggered, rotational shifts 6am-4pm & 9am-7pm
• Excess shift rate at base rate for extra shifts
• Sign-on bonus and relocation incentives
• Annual performance-based compensation opportunity
• Up to $5k annual value pay opportunity after one full calendar year of employment
• Experienced providers and new grads encouraged to apply
