Job Details:

• Work varied schedule including weekends, holidays, call, and float per department guidelines

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs

• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient-specific needs

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care

• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel

• Document all nursing care activities in patient records in a timely and accurate manner

• Participate in patient and family education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel

• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice

• BLS certification required

• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required

• Recent acute care experience within past 12 months in specialty area required

• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to work area

• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics for patient care
