We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Technician to join our Pain Management team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a C-arm and working in a clinical setting where precise imaging is essential for pain management procedures. You will assist physicians by performing high-quality diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging. This is a part time 1099 contractor position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely set up and operate C-arm for fluoroscopic procedures.
- Assist physicians during minimally invasive pain management procedures, ensuring high-quality images are captured.
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Adjust imaging techniques as necessary to optimize the quality of radiographic images, specifically in dynamic fluoroscopic settings.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the imaging procedure.
- Assist patients on and off examination table
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging results.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient patient care.
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety standards and protocols.
- Follow all healthcare regulations and infection control procedures.
- Maintain a safe environment for the employee and patients at all times.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Education and Experience:
- Current ARRT License in the state of Arizona
- High School Diploma
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, preferred.
- 2+ years experience in pain management procedures and operating c-arm
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in operating C-arm.
- Strong knowledge of radiology techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues with imaging equipment.
Travel Requirements: This position is open for both our Mesa (Tuesdays, weekly) and Peoria (Mondays, 1p/month) office.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift as necessary to assist with positioning patients.
- Physical stamina to work in a clinical environment, including assisting patients and maneuvering equipment.
