OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Infrastructure Manager leads a team of Infrastructure Specialists and Dev Ops engineers and ensure the smooth and efficient operations of our Azure and On Prem Data Centers and Infrastructure. The Infrastructure Manager works closely with the software development, IT Help Desk and business teams and handle all cloud operations and on prem operations as well as develop and maintain infrastructure code and pipelines.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of the cloud and on prem infrastructure operation through regular monitoring, maintenance, and optimization
- Hire, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Cloud Engineers, Infrastructure Engineers and Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Infrastructure Operations department, aligning with the company's goals and objectives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to ensure timely delivery of projects and effective issue resolution
- Hands‑on implementation and management of continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, and other relevant tools
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Infrastructure Operations department, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud infrastructure and application development processes
- Design and implement a zero‑downtime deployment strategy, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance across all systems
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing system performance
- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Azure ARM templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and management
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and skill development within the team
- Travel as needed to support company requirements
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team, promoting the adoption of best practices across the organization
- All Acumen/DCI employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly. In addition to the cybersecurity requirements of all positions at Acumen/DCI, the Infrastructure team will support the secure design, development, security installation / configuration, and remediation of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners, and cloud properties.
Additionally, these positions will support the proper conduct of incidents, responses and investigations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years leading Cloud and On Prem based Infrastructure and/or IT/Dev Ops teams
- 4+ years’ experience managing cloud-based and on‑prem infrastructure
- 4+ years’ experience utilizing at least one scripting language, preferably Power Shell, Python, or Bash
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
