Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Onsite in Mesa, Arizona

Seeking an automation-focused SDET to design, build, and maintain robust test frameworks for web-based applications. This role emphasizes automated functional testing, CI/CD integration, and close collaboration with engineering teams in an Agile environment. The ideal profile leans heavily toward automation over manual testing and has strong hands‑on experience with modern QA tooling.

• Automation Frameworks: Selenium Web Driver or Playwright

• Programming Language: C# or Java

• CI/CD & Dev Ops: Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub

• API Testing: Postman

• Platforms: Windows desktop, server, and web environments

• Databases: Strong understanding of SQL / PL‑SQL and relational database concepts

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• 5‑7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on web‑based applications

• Demonstrated experience where automation is the primary focus of QA work

• 5 years designing and executing test cases and test plans

• 3 years of hands‑on UI and API automation using Selenium (C# or Java)

• Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

• Strong understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies

• Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain testing strategy, results, and risks clearly.
