Key Responsibilities
Classify mortality risks using company guidelines while considering profitability and market needs
Demonstrate sound financial underwriting and product knowledge
Manage handling and approval authority for cases up to $1,000,000 or as determined by management
Required Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Demonstrated ability to exercise good underwriting judgment
Experience with insurance medicine and life insurance contract law
Ability to manage a full underwriting caseload effectively
