The Boeing Company is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to join our Vertical Lift team in Mesa, AZ
. As part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to creatively solve complex technical problems on multiple Boeing programs, including the AH-64 Apache, AH6 Little Bird
, and other Vertical Lift and aerospace platforms.

As a Software Engineering Manager at Boeing, you will lead and support a diverse team of software development engineers. This is a unique opportunity to manage full lifecycle software development for the most sophisticated military and commercial platforms in the world. The successful candidate will lead the software engineering team responsible for software and test development for Apache Weapons and Sights.

Our teams develop mission, vehicle, and flight control software
, as well as modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis, for the AH-64 Apache aircraft. Responsibilities include integrating team activities with the other Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and across numerous programs; managing successful projects, day-to-day work assignments, staffing, personnel development, skills management, and team training. The lifecycle of the team’s products spans all activities from proposal development through aircraft fielding and resolution of field issues.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining overall tools and processes, supporting ongoing process improvements, and coordinating software customer interface. The manager also provides oversight of technical issues/solutions, build plans, project status briefings, proposal inputs, and administration issues.
