, you will be at the core of both staffed and autonomous mining operations, partnering closely with customers to elevate safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

This role sits within the Mine Star Performance Center
, with a key focus on optimizing the performance of Mine Star Fleet and Command for Hauling applications across the region. You’ll work directly with customers, dealers, and internal teams to drive measurable improvements using data, assessments, and performance tools—and act on opportunities that unlock value.

• Called upon as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support safe and effective performance for Mine Star Fleet and Command for Hauling customers.
• Lead and deliver Site Assessments, continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, and performance tool implementations.
• Apply advanced methodologies and tools to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control performance for Mine Star applications.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Caterpillar teams, dealers, and mining customers.
• Advise customers on operational best practices and CI opportunities to unlock higher performance.
• Maintain and update operational documentation to reflect best practices and performance insights.
• Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and support teams to enhance technology offerings.
• Support both contractual and non‑contractual customer performance commitments.

• Demonstrates a strong personal safety culture and serves as a role model for safe work practices.
• Actively influences and reinforces safe behaviors across multiple and diverse mine sites.

• Extensive experience in surface mining operations
• Advanced knowledge of Mine Star Fleet, Command for Hauling, or other mining technologies
• Deep understanding of operational excellence and mining processes.

• Applies performance improvement methodologies to diagnose complex operational, technical, or process‑driven challenges.
• Comfort working across diverse themes—data analysis, coding, validation, documentation, coaching, project management.

• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across frontline, technical, and leadership audiences.
