Mechnano is an Arizona-based startup that is developing new materials for additive manufacturing. We are growing quickly and looking for another team member to help us get to the next level. The manufacturing technician is responsible for assisting with all things manufacturing, from producing customer samples to conducting experiments. All activities will be at the lab and pilot scale and will involve weighing, mixing, packaging, and analyzing chemicals.

We need a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to help us grow!

• Assist in running various manufacturing equipment at the lab and pilot scale.
• Qualify new equipment and assist in maintaining existing equipment.
• Run basic QA/QC tools and analyze results to verify product quality.
• Conduct lab experiments on new products.
• Review and write standard operating procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate chemical and lab inventory.

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Ideal candidate has 2+ years of chemical handling and lab experience.
• Excellent attentional to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment/processes.

Mechnano is an Arizona-based startup of scientists and entrepreneurs that are applying proprietary carbon nanotube (CNT) technology to additive manufacturing (AM) polymers. Mechnano’s technology is backed by over a decade of research and development, with around a hundred issued and pending patents. It is the first company to fabricate parts with CNTs using material jetting and vat photopolymerization systems, improving impact, tear resistance, tensile performance, and achieving ESD.
