Overview

Salary Range: $18.00 per hour

Bonuses:
After 3 months of employment, there is a one-time $250 bonus if attendance and performance metrics are met. Ongoing opportunities to earn bonuses for attendance.

We deliver 100% grass fed, pasture-raised, environmentally-regenerative beef, chicken and pork and sustainably caught, wild seafood directly to our customers’ doors. We have incredibly high standards for our meat – all being raised in the USA by small-scale family farmers on lush pastures free from human-caused chemicals.

The Opportunity

The General Production Employee will perform various production duties, while adhering to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. The General Production Employee must follow and adhere to all company process procedures and controls. The General Production Employee will report to and work closely with the Production Manager and Production Lead on shift.

General Operations
  • Operate Processing and Packaging Equipment:
    Operate various processing and packaging machines according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Bone Prepping:
    Receiving raw frozen bone from the warehouse and using processing machines to prep and cut for further process.
  • Finished Product Packaging:
    Properly package products in finished packaging, shipper boxes and palletize following finished product specification sheets.
  • Product and Material Handling:
    Properly handle ingredients, materials and finished product during process and in all processing and storage areas.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing:
    Use cleaning agents, disinfectants and sanitizer following all manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines, ensuring proper dilution and application methods. Employees must follow all safety protocols and company SSOPs and must wear the required PPE at all times during the sanitation process.
  • Ingredient Handling and Preparation
  • Receive and Inspect Raw Materials:
    Verify that raw ingredients are correctly labeled, stored, and meet the required quality specifications.
  • Segregation Management:
    Ensure that ingredients are properly stored, segregated, and handled to prevent cross-contamination, using dedicated equipment and maintaining clean environments.
  • Quality Control & Compliance
  • GMP Compliance:
    Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and FDA and USDA compliance at all times.
  • Prevent Contamination:
    Ensure that all equipment and ingredients are free from contaminants or allergens that could affect product quality.
  • Quality Issue Notification:
    Notify QA Technician of any issues related to batch quality, equipment performance, or ingredient inconsistencies. Notify Production Lead or Maintenance Technician when necessary.
  • Safety
  • Ensure Safe Work Practices:
    Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., gloves and eye protection).
  • Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment:
    Ensure that work areas, equipment, and materials are kept clean and orderly, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Follow Regulatory Guidelines:
    Ensure all processes are in compliance with FDA and USDA requirements and quality standards.
