Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician to work out of its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Mesa, AZ to support manufacturing operations and support groups by performing routine maintenance tasks and unplanned maintenance requests under the supervision of more experienced technicians. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
- Assist senior technicians with complex maintenance tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and report issues.
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and update logs as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers.
- Proficient in maintenance management software.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and procedures.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work under supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to lift 50‑75 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasionally work in awkward positions.
