Intermediate warehousing position that is expected to complete all tasks under general supervision. Material Handler 2 performs a variety of warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. The position is responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures, and for maintaining documentation.
Responsibilities- Completes all warehousing activities including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control in compliance with safety and quality SOPs.
- Unload, load, put away and retrieve material utilizing hand trucks, powered forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
- Obtain certification on at least one type of material handling equipment.
- Perform transactions in ERP/WMS system including shipping, cycle counts, material receipts, and shipments.
- Lookup material status/location in ERP/WMS system.
- Utilize Outlook to communicate with internal partners.
- Complete basic data entry in Excel or other programs.
- Perform 7‑point inspection on tractor trailers prior to unloading/loading materials.
- Inspect inbound materials for damages.
- Verify material information against vendor paperwork and purchase orders.
- Review raw material specifications before receiving/labeling materials.
- Prepare pick lists for materials based on requests from manufacturing or planning.
- Pick, stage, and transact bulk and non‑bulk materials.
- Proactively suggest opportunities for operational improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in a material handling role.
- 1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience in another ERP/WMS system.
- 1+ year operating electric powered material handling equipment.
- Basic computer data entry skills.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Experience and Education Requirements- 2‑4 years of related experience.
- High School diploma, certificate, or equivalent.

Salary$15.81 - $26.34 per hour
