The Registered Nurse (RN) Educator is responsible for developing, conducting and evaluating organizational nurse/medical treatment team training programs. The RN Educator conducts classroom and individual training through in‑service, clinical supervision programs, orientation tracks, new graduate residence program, and ongoing continuing education for nurses, students and other patient‑care staff. The RN Educator serves as a resource for staff and site leadership, assists with preceptorship and mentorship programs, provides recommendations and guidance for patient educational programs, performs administrative duties as needed, plans a monthly education calendar, and serves on special committees.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school required. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• 3–5 years of health‑care related experience with exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• 1–2 years of experience in a training or education role preferred.
